Kalyvas Supreme Secretary George Kalyvas and Daughters of Penelope GP Margaret Dritsas spoke at the Ideagen Global Partnership Summit during UN Week in New York City. They spoke alongside HOSA-Future Health Professionals Chair-Elect Dr. David Kelly about youth engagement to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They attended the closing bell ceremony at Nasdaq and an award ceremony. Thank you to Ideagen and Nasdaq for the opportunity to broadcast Hellenic Ideals to such a large audience! Across the world, chapters held Christmas celebrations. Friends, family, and Sons of Pericles gathered in fraternal abodes. Supreme Governor George Antonellis attended the Denver Colorado AHEPA Family Christmas Celebration. He celebrated alongside AHEPA Supreme President Savas Tsivicos, Supreme Treasurer Themistocles Frangos. They were hosted by local brother Supreme Governor Marshall Monsell. Brother Antonellis met with Maids of Athena and Sons of Pericles in the area.    Chapters contributed their time, money and effort in giving back to their communities this holiday season. Lowell Chapter 14 made donation bags with clothing and supplies and distributed them to those less fortunate in downtown Boston. We commend these brothers on their philanthropy, and their commitment to their community.

The Sons of Pericles and Maids of Athena assembled for a memorable Greeks in Boston Social Weekend. Beginning with a meet and greet at Desfina Restaurant. Saturday took the attendees on a historic walking tour across Boston and then to a Greek Night Dinner at FiRE+iCE Restaurant. Thank you to all those who attended and made this weekend superb. Supreme President Alec Economakis with the Albany Phocion 44 Chapter Supreme President Alec Economakis ready for Apple Picking with the Albany Sons and Maids! Supreme President Alec Economakis recently visited Phocion Chapter 44 in Albany, New York.  He was welcomed into their chapter meeting, where the SOP discussed their goals as a chapter for the upcoming year as well as plans for the upcoming Valentine's Day Weekend, an annual event co-hosted with their sister chapter, MOA Sophia Chapter 48.  His visitation also included a Sons and Maids apple picking event that was a huge success.

The AHEPA Supreme Lodge and Board of Trustees, AHEPA District 6 Governor Mike Labatos, Supreme Secretary George G. Kalyvas, and members of the Yonkers AHEPA 51 Chapter Supreme Secretary George Kalyvas and AHEPA Supreme President Savas Tsivicos honored AHEPA Chapter 51 at their centennial celebration at the Greentree Country Club in Westchester, New York. This was a special event for Secretary George since this chapter counts his grandfather George Kalyvas Sr. and father Nicholas Kalyvas as members!

The District 6 Sons of Pericles participated in the AHEPA Family Fall Conference at Holy Trinity Church in New Rochelle, New York. Past Supreme President (PSP) Paul Pavlakos and Supreme Secretary George Kalyvas organized and facilitated the meeting. A new brother was initiated by AHEPA Supreme Secretary Zenon Christodoulou, and a district council of leadership was established.  In District 23, Supreme Treasurer Andreas Koloniaris attended the Midyear Conference alongside AHEPA Canada President Emmanuel Constas and District 23 Governor Nick Pantieras.  The Supreme Lodge looks forward to the continued growth of these districts!

The Regina CJ12 Leaping Leventes Chapter with Supreme Treasurer Andreas Koloniaris (10/29/2024) Supreme Treasurer Andreas Koloniaris traveled to Regina, Saskatchewan and reactivated the CJ12 chapter! They have resurrected the lively Leaping Leventes name. Grand Vice President Lia Chrisohou reactivated the Fotini 215 Maids of Athena Chapter. These brothers and sisters are excited to get involved, and we welcome them with open arms into the AHEPA Family! Supreme Vice President Basili Ronstadt attended Past Grand President Ally Tsenekos' Testimonial in August. PGP Ally was presented with a gift courtesy of the Sons of Pericles for her dedication to Hellenic ideals and years of service to the AHEPA Family. Congratulations PGP Ally for your service!

This past weekend Supreme Governor George Kalyvas attended the District 6 Fall conference hosted by AHEPA chapter 406 in New Rochelle, NY. It was a great turnout for the Sons, with members from the New Rochelle, Bayside, Albany and Hempstead chapters in attendance. Governor George addressed the AHEPA floor, and along with PSP Paul Pavlakos hosted a “Sons 101” strategy meeting and initiated new members into the order. The Sons also visited the Maids of Athena to discuss upcoming events and make friendship bracelets. Keep up the great work D6!

AHEPA Family members from all over North America headed back to where it started this weekend to celebrate Sons of Pericles Supreme Lodge Past Supreme President Ryan Marinos at a Testimonial dinner hosted by AHEPA Chapter #1 - The Mother Lodge and Sons of Pericles Adelphi Chapter 86 of Atlanta, Georgia. Vice Chairman of the Board George Horiates, PSP presented Ryan with a gavel on behalf of the AHEPA Board of Trustees, and AHEPA Supreme Treasurer Demetrios Kirkiles presented an award on behalf of Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos. Heartfelt presentations and speeches were made by Daughters of Penelope PGP Georgette Boulegeris, Maids of Athena PGP Maria Ana Pantelous, SOP PSPs Sandy Papadopoulos, Gregory C. Vourloumis, & Timothy Noitsis, The Sons of Pericles & Maids of Athena National Lodges, District 1 PDG John Shinas, Ryan's mother, and keynote speaker MOA PGP Stephanie Maniatis. Congratulations Brother Ryan on a successful term, we wish you nothing but success in all your future endeavors. Axios!

Thank you to everyone who attended our SOP Virtual Convention on July 18, and everyone who attended the AHEPA Family Supreme Convention in Athens, Greece July 25-31! Throughout this past year, our chapters rose to the challenge and continued to host in-person and virtual events and service projects throughout the year! Because of your dedication, we were able to grow the Order of the Sons of Pericles by 10% this year! We've reactivated chapters in New Haven, CT, Boston, MA, Montreal, QC, and Austin, TX!
