SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AVAILABLE
Applicants for the 2025 Sons of Pericles scholarships are eligible to win one of three available scholarships awards:

Sons of Pericles National Scholarship - $1000

SOP AHEPA Senior Living Scholarship - $500
-
SOP Philotimo Scholarship - $500
SONS OF PERICLES 2025 NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
● Must be a member of the Sons of Pericles in good standing for the current year. Please consult the SOP Constitution regarding requirements to be a member in good standing.
● Must be a graduating high school senior and planning to attend an accredited college or university, or a current undergraduate or graduate student.
● The member’s sponsoring chapter must have paid chapter obligations in order for applicants to be eligible.

SONS OF PERICLES 2025 NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS
The following supplemental material must be submitted with your application in order to be considered for the Sons of Pericles 2025 Scholarship:

JUDGING CRITERIA

Applicants will be judged in the following areas:

Sons of Pericles Chapter Participation
-
Academic & Professional Merit
-
Financial Need
-

All requirements must be met and all questions answered, or the applicant will be disqualified.

An independent set of judges will be selected. These judges will choose the winners based on the criteria above. Judges are not members of the AHEPA Family.

The Scholarship Chairperson will notify applicants about the final decision via email.
-
Proof of enrollment in the form of a transcript or schedule of classes must be submitted by winners before scholarship payment can be complete.
