The reception was held in honor of Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is in the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly, where he will deliver a speech on Friday.

Supreme President Ronstadt had the opportunity to greet Prime Minister Mitsotakis and briefly discuss the Sons of Pericles and the upcoming Centennial Celebration in 2026. During this conversation, Ronstadt presented the Prime Minister with a limited-edition Sons of Pericles Centennial Pin. The Supreme President also spoke about the growth of the Sons of Pericles in Greece and expressed his enthusiasm for further expansion.

Prominent Greek Americans John Calamos, C. Dean Metropoulos, Nick Gage, Paulette Poulos, and Nicholas Mitropoulos (posthumously) were honored by the Prime Minister at the event and recognized for their achievements and contributions to the Greek-American community.

The Sons of Pericles were grateful to be included in such a distinguished gathering honoring Prime Minister Mitsotakis. Supreme President Ronstadt expressed his appreciation to AHEPA Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson for making his attendance possible and noted how meaningful it was for the Sons of Pericles to take part in this important occasion.
